Akia Screens CLR ALR Projector Screen 123 inch 169 Ceiling Light Rejecting Ambient Light Rejecting Projection Screen for UST Projection Edge Free Fixed Frame Screen AK-NB123H-CLR4 Review

  • I am very pleased with the final result of the 125-inch fixed frame series AKIA screen
  • Pros:

    – You won’t find anything in this size that’s cheaper
    – The picture brightness and quality is excellent
    – No wrinkles aside from the extreme corners
    – Compared to other vinyl screens, the smell is quite low and goes away after 24hr

  • Really happy with this purchase
  • CLR4
  • I put this together by myself
  • I have no complaints about the screen after I was able to get it assembled
  • Purchased the 145 inch edge free screen
  • I bought this screen as I moved to a new apartment and had to set up my projector in essentially the brightest room imaginable without much ability for light control
  • There is way too much screen fabric included in the 100″ screen size (I suspect they include the same amount of fabric for a 110″ screen), and the tension bars aren’t long enough, which is just bizarre
  • The screen quality is really nice! I was using a cheap white pulldown screen and this is much better quality in every way

Elite Screens Evanesce Tab-Tension B CineGrey 5D 106-inch 169 in Ceiling Concealed Electric Motorized Drop Down Projector Screen w Ambient Light Rejecting CG5D Projection Material ETB106HD5-E16 Review

  • You cannot beat the value on this ; However I have to agree with others that you have a fairly high chance that it will either be somewhat damaged in shipping and/or your screen may have some defects
  • UPDATE 18 Months later: After less than 2 years of use (the warranty period); the limit switches on the unit have failed and the unit won’t roll back up
  • The build quality on this screen is excellent, and is the second one we’ve installed this year
  • Overall the screen works as expected, though installation was a bit difficult due to the hanging tabs that stick out the same with as the shroud
  • Amazon had a bit of trouble getting the right screen to me, but I generally try to not let that impact my product review
  • While installing this screen and opting for the hard wired option, I found what appeared to be an unusual difference in the suggested wiring diagram
  • This screen is every bit as good as the description
  • This doesn’t have a lot to do with the product itself
  • Purchased in March 2018 as part of a basement theater room renovation, paired with the Optoma UHD60

Elite Screens ezFrame CineGrey 5D 150" Diagonal 169 8K 4K Ultra HD Ready Ceiling Light Rejecting Ambient Light Rejecting Fixed Frame Projector Screen CineGrey 5D Projection Material R150DHD5 Review

  • This review is of the 1080p3 version 150" diagonal
  • After many reviews and hours of research I finally pulled the trigger on the Cinegrey 5D screen
  • First of all, I have to tell you that I was dumb enough to install the screen and throw away all the packaging
  • The ALR is hard to describe
  • I took some time in researching different screen options and eventually decided on the ezFrame with the Sound Transparent AcousticPro screen material
  • Great looking screen, although I had a bit of difficulty stretching the screen material to the frame by myself
  • I saw some concerns about hot-spotting with this screen so I reached out to Elite Screens beforehand to make sure I wouldn’t have that problem
  • 150" 3D material
  • If you’re in the market for a screen, don’t spend 3 months testing screen samples from a bunch of different manufacturers like I did

DELUX SCREENS (US Business)120 inch 4K/8K Ultra HDR Projector Screen Active 3D Ready – 6 Piece Fixed Frame Home Theater Movie Projection Screen SILVER HIGH CONTRAST Velvet Border (120" 169 Silver) Review

  • Overall the screen works great after i had to make some adjustments (which paying hundreds of dollars for something shouldn’t be required)
  • I got the 110 matte screen and it’s a screen as advertised
  • 7 years ago I setup a projector in my basement
  • So UPS delivered 120 inch Delux screen a day late for some reason
  • The specific model I am writing this review for is the 135″ 16:9 Matte White
  • Screen is great, captures light perfect
  • Purchased the 135 inch screen
  • I ordered this screen for the price point of an ALR screen, the 135″ screen
  • Great looking screen that was easy to assemble and mount on a wall

Silver Ticket Products STR Series 6 Piece Home Theater Fixed Frame 4K / 8K Ultra HD HDTV HDR & Active 3D Movie Projection Screen 169 Format 150" Diagonal Grey Material STR-169150-G Review

  • I have been using a beige wall with slight texture for watching my Optoma HD-20 and now my Optoma HD25-LV projector
  • First time owning a UST projector and was a little nervous about all the options online recommending screens well over $1000+
  • I originally purchased a 120 inch Elite Screen Used – Like New from Amazon and did not get it completely installed
  • This is the second Silver Ticket screen I’ve purchased (the first screen was 135″ High Contrast for a dedicated media room)
  • I tried my best to prepare my wall, and even tried painting the wall with white ceiling, paint two coats, then used a quart of screen paint from an expensive seller on Amazon
  • The screen itself is great and easy to assemble and install
  • Screen and frame materials are good
  • I was seriously contemplating getting an ALR screen but couldn’t bring myself to spending that much on a screen
  • Easy to install
  • STR-169150 Silver Ticket 150" Diagonal 16:9 HDTV (6 Piece Fixed Frame) Projector Screen White Material
This is a very good screen and I am very happy with the way it looks and picture quality with my projector

I did a ton of research and I’m really glad I did.The product box was surrounded by an airpad wrap giving it ample protection during shipping. However, my unit had a 19″ fall and stopped focusing.I picked up a collapsible photography backdrop frame and lycra stretch screen around the same time, and along with a camera tripod I have a completely portable setup.I have had a variety of projectors in the past, such as LG, Epsom, and Viewsonic. What this means is that if you want to actually see all of your “4k” resolution, this device has to be perfectly square , and exactly the right distance from the screen .But this projector impressed me and it helped my kids’ eyes so much, I really want to share my experience with you guys.It is truly easy to use. What I don’t like is the auto keystone correction. The game mode is adequately responsive for gaming. It makes it so much more “portable”, because the “ready to watch”-time becomes practically zero.Auto-keystone, Auto-focus, and Auto-Object avoidance are so convenient that they make this the easiest projector to set up.The Android TV OS needs some improving at the moment.I decided the purchase the H2 as I didn’t need the built in battery and it was still a very compact device but with more brightness.Worked great with instant on and auto everything. It’s not a deal breaker but I don’t want to have a dongle hanging out of my $1800 projector. One Minute ReviewAfter several comparisons with other DLP projectors, I decided to try this projector for its reasonable price, impressive specs, and stylish design. This projector met the bill.

I needed something that was portable and I could easily move and set up.1) Auto-focus: My old unit constantly needed to be re-focused so the intelligent auto-focus was much appreciated.I’ve had it for a month or so and I love it.Good picture for YouTube, news, or music.I’ve been using it for about a month or two now and I can safely say it has easily replaced my actual television and it’s easier on the eyes because it’s not direct light but a reflection.Backstory…Originally my wife bought me one of the popular $200 jobs on Amazon, and the quantity was sort of weak.I wanted something with more brightness and 4k.They list the lamp life as 15,000 hours, but they won’t replace mine for free even though it stopped working under their warranty policy. The pretty good:– The image is pretty good for the price.I returned it as instructed by Amazon I took it to the ups store Dec.It’s expensive but there was a coupon and it included a stand, which made it hurt less on the wallet.-I thought I would not need any additional Smart TV device with the “Built-in Android TV”The projector works well as a projector, and the setup was very easy. The new Horizon Pro costs quite a bit more but the added resolution, noticeable increase in brightness, and new Android TV OS make it worth it.I recommend getting an Apple TV or Roku.We use Roku stick for Netflix.[/review4][review5] Anytime I buy products from other countries, Im a bit hesitant because the instructions are always lackluster or in a different language.Even though it does offer a native 4k resolution, and does produce good picture and decent brightness and watchable during daytime, i don’t feel that it’s worth the price tag.Pros:If you are confused which projector should you buy, then your search ends here.

But this product is of above average quality. One sees a great many details.Likewise the picture is difficult to maintain clarity across the full image.Am contemplating if I should return or change to HD version which is $700 cheaper The projector itself is good quality for playing movies at home, however if anything goes wrong as small as a footing screw, don’t expect any customer service. Now I just have to get a real screen. So far, I’d have to say that this projector lives up to every expectation. After three month of having it still good. The answer is yes! The image is perfect and clear. The auto focus/auto keystone is great.Had to use a magnifying glass to see it, then try to read it.It is unbelievable for movie viewing, makes you rethink ever needing to go to theatres, and so easy to set up. Pros:– Love the auto focus, I remember spending so much time on the ladder to focus my old projector.I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for the best projector with good value for money.I like youtube but hulu is a no go so If you put in a roku fire stick you are good to go.The picture is great, auto focus is great, remote is great, but falls short on actually integrating nicely with a home theater setup.
