I hope this will be enough to give you full confidence about this projector, even though I’ve only had it for one day so far.The projector was always $2499… They increased a $100 at the end of October, then $100again at the 1st week of November, then another $100 again at the 2nd week of November.Mine sits next to the wall next to my PS4 and it looks like it belongs there.1, 7.Here’s a quick comparison:1.So yes, if you’re replacing your TV with this, you’ll do just fine. Now the TV vs Projector debate is something that a lot of people like myself considered but the newest advancements in laser + ultra short throw technology goes a long way in closing that gap more than ever before.Tried the trouble shooting steps on the user manual and nothing changed, still half screen. With UST, you skip the ceiling mounts and the headache of placing a projector in the middle of the room.I see another reviewer who had the same issue and returned his unit.Only issue is the Bluetooth functionality. It makes me feel like Watching a big regular TV.I recomend this vava 4k ultra short throw laser projector for the one who wants to makes home cinema.Unboxing, setting up and configuring are a no brainier. There’s no need to get extra hardware to hang it from the wall or ceiling, you just put the projector right up to the screen and away you go.This is what caused me to buy this above other projectors and I was let done.My biggest hesitation was using the projector with ambient light.Overall I am very pleased. The accessibility of ultra short throw combined with a laser light source blows everything out of the water for all but the most hard core enthusiasts.
Although not required by any means, an ALR screen really unlocks the full potential VAVA.Which responded with “are you sure the cables are connected?”.I was told by Vava to plug a keyboard and mouse into the unit which gave me some basic functionality but not enough to get the picture dialed in.2 AVR system. What ultimately swayed my decision was that I didn’t want to go thru the hassle of installing the ceiling mount or getting a professional installation. No NetFlix support, no Prime support.I have never owned a projector before, I did not have what I thought were the proper room dimensions to accommodate a ceiling-mount traditional bulb projector.I even contacted their support asking about some future improvements and they actually responded with what their plans were.Overall, I love this projector. So far, I haven’t got any problems with it since I read it’s a new product on the market. My theater area was originally wired for just a flat-screen.It is very close to the wall and allows us to present data that everyone can read anywhere in the room. It’sa close wall protector, Harmon Kardon sound. So I purchased the Vava.Pros:25000 laser life – godsend for heavy users. The short throw functionality of sitting against the wall to beam an image solves the age old problems of regular projectors.I chose the VAVA because the use-case of ultra short throw, 4K image, with a soundbar was perfect for what I needed.IMO Ultra short throw is probably the greatest advancement in projectors since sliced bread. There is no denying the LG’s picture is great the VAVA probably offers 90% to 95% of the performance while costing over $3000 less.Keep seeing Volume change icon for approximately every 10 seconds while using HDMI ARC.
This UST laser projector gives me an experience that is VERY CLOSE to being in an actual theatre. The average person probably would not be able to notice 4k resolution but on an 100″ screen the difference is extremely obvious. And it turns out not bad at all! So I set it up in my family room on the 2nd floor where the walls are painted dark blue to test out the image quality and surprisingly it’s actually not that bad even without the screen.ConsApps are clunky. It is very sharp. The 4K pic quality is very good would definitely recommend it I am super excited to have a 4K project to watch movies …Love this projector! It’s is sturdy, heavy, and well-built.Looks a lot better projected onto a screen vs. I love the vava projector I purchase it with and vividstorm 120″ alr screen it is awesome it does have some bugs to work out but the picture is beautiful.Disappointed with “smart” capabilities. Integration of the remote is not smooth.I eventually decided to purchase this projector based on positive reviews on here as well as Youtube videos, and I can say this product was worth every penny. This projector is awesome, great investment.Even more at night.THIS IS A STUNNING IMAGE THAT YOU CAN IMAGINE.The requirements for images are very demanding.
