How this all came to be… ALOT of searching and ALOT of comparing. It is 1080p native.I compared it with a 80$ projector and a 500$ one.A week into this Burning Man scenario, I purchased this $250 unit. Now I’m happy that I got this, simply worth your money. With that said, it is a decent projector for the money.I now have a home theater and I am really excited !!!!! I was in the market for a project as my outdated one was doing only 360p which meant it was definitely time for a upgrade. However, I noticed this and some similar lower priced projectors claiming some good specs and with a lot of good reviews.Although possible, I wouldn’t personally recommend using this for work presentations with a lot of text or numerical graphics, as it tends to blur a little on the sides; but works great at home for casual entertainment.very easy to setup and does not require projector screen to watch videos on it .I was looking for something to use for an occasional movie and sometimes for my computer.5mm Audio Out 3.I was about to buy another TV to my room but I ended up buying this Projector which is way better and having an awesome experience.Save your money and spend a tad more on a higher quality unit.Other projectors advertise as being 1080P compatible, but they actually downgrade the quality to a non-HD resolution.I’ve purchased several “HD” projectors in the past few years, and the mistake I made was that most “scale to HD” but are not true HD.It comes with superior features that have managed to astonish projector enthusiasts.Brightness is same as my primary one, which is viewable at indoor with light on or curtains open on sunny day.Now I have a “man cave” that has no windows so I have a good set up for this.
This fits all our needs perfectly.Beware of other budget projectors that claim 1080p but in reality have a much lower resolution.Their support cares about you as they want to make sure their projector is working, even after you have confirmed the projector works. The remote is well designed, and the projector has good infrared reception where you don’t have to be close or straight on to use the remote..I used it on a stretch fabric screen and it was like a TV or monitor. It didn’t work out like that.It can also be used for home cinema, as an alternative method for viewing entertainment content. Our old projector didn’t do well with just about any light in the room and we’re starting to do more powerpoint presentations using our own equipment.Booted it up, tested it, and am very happy with the results. This Cibest home video is a wonderful step up with the additional 2000 OEM lumens to a 5000 Lux projector, a very appreciated difference in brilliance, clarity and sharpness iii I Ceiling mounted this standard Cibest unit approximately 12′ away from a 84″ width, pull down screen.I remember them being extremely expensive when I previously looked but after seeing this one, in a price range id be willing to pay, with great reviews, I thought to pick it up.This projector has been serving me well for years with no issues, or not any significant ones.I also bought a Xinda, the biggest I could get & be in focus was 120″ .I guess all the ideas finally got me excited enough to break down and get one. This is perhaps, a good mid-way between a true $$$$ cost Business projector made for full light applications and a home unit to watch movies in full dark.Works pretty good.audio is very good. Most of the good options given to me were well into the $1000’s and not something most people could use.I turned it on briefly during the day as well in a well lit room, and while it will project and you can see it, I would say it would be difficult to watch an entire movie on it without some straining.
So a bit of my background and what my review is based on.The weight of the projector compared to its peers is substantial this leaves one to think of seriousness.I have only had the projector for about a week; these thoughts will be updated.I also own a BenQ short thrown projector which gives a sharp image and good performance in a bright room, which costs me $1000.I was looking for a budget 1080P and nothing was in my budget range in name brands so I decided to give this one a try and I am not disappointed. Some of the features I really like are the dual HDMI ports, SD card slot, USB port, includes HDMI cable and the loudness and sound quality of the internal speaker really surprised.A bit heavy but very good screen brightness and very good picture quality.Hooking up the projector to an external speaker is made simple by an included cord which converts the small microphone style port into RCA plugs.Had for one month with good brightness, sharpness and surprisingly good contrast and black level run through my Oppo for better video processing.I’m fairly impressed by the light output and the quality of the picture, I can definitely see myself watching long movies using this projector. Not great, but it is priced moderately.Exterior look of the projector is ok.I am going to use this for movie nights on the side of the house and even when testing it inside, I was impressed with how bright it was with all the lights on.I have found this one to be the best for picture, brightness, price and budget.I would say this is on par with a DLP projector with the added benefit of an LED light source that *should last a long long time*.It has 2 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports and 1 VGA port for input source.Basically just need a large white/ish wall or a screen if you have the cash for one but a wall is fine.I’m spoiled by years of LCD tv usage, but this still impressed me… even though it’s projecting, it’s bright with rich colors and great crisp visuals for both charts and accompanying marketing videos that I have to show.It is very easy to use and set up, my brother was able to use it right away to play movies and even connect his play station 4 so he could play his games on the big screen, the position of the screen can be easily adjusted on the projector to perfectly align with the screen.Seller responded and confirmed.
