I noticed the price drop under $2K so I pulled the trigger.Lights bleeds outside of the screen all around. So I made the leap and I don’t regret it once so ever.Alexa works 1 out of 10 times with limited controls.AppearanceThe projector looks very stylish – discreet black and silver body colors and white logo.I have a nice receiver and home theater speakers but was in no hurry hooking it up for the first couple of movies; the sound was that good. Why I don’t recommend anyone buy this:1) It makes me select HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 every time I turn it on.Buy it.I went in with very high Hope’s but was let down by the quality of the black levels, the picture was sharp but in dark scenes this projector let me down.– Picture quality is quite good – For a price at $749 is not a bad deal Picture was sharp but way to dim to watch for any period of time, dont waste your money, that’s why they are selling it for half price.BUT, it always bothered me that no matter what, I could not get the focus to be 100% sharp .While its a great projector the voice and smart features just aren’t there yet.I’m pretty sure this did provide me a glimpse at 4K content.Visual quality and text VERY CLEAR.It doesn’t look like this in person but the videos do show the colors and stuff ok.Fortunately, this Optoma delivers in the most important respects. This is supposed to be table top, portable projector, so no manual zoom, however it supports to mount the unit to ceiling.
