As for me, I had a problem almost the same day that I wrote the review.Otherwise it works as advertised.Do not make my mistake – do not try to do it with this projector..The 4k picture density is unbeatable in a 100″ screen when compare to normal 1080p projector.Just make sure you have plenty of space to make the screen large and a really sturdy stand big enough to hold it.The projector itself is fantastic.Optoma said they are extremely understaffed and it could take months before I get it back.We were looking to upgrade to 4K, but didn’t want a super big price tag.13 ft distance but at least 15-16 ft distance is needed. It is a noisy projector if you aren’t using the ECO or ECO+ modes. All in all, I recommend. While pleased with the HD26, i wanted more image clarity, more lumens, darker blacks and brighter colors; As movies like the dark knight, with so many dark scenes were almost unwatchable on the HD26.You should know that the image is biased upwards so that it can sit on a table and project upwards towards the screen, or hang upside down from the ceiling and project downwards towards the screen. It’s only 100″ at 15′ away from the wall. The colors are great, movies look fantastic, games look better than ever and make sure you get the slightly more expensive model that allows you horizontal and vertical keystone control.Night scenes resemble Minecraft blocks and I can’t seem to fix it.A quality projector!!![/review2][review3] Well worth ever penny.

Considering the quality for the price it’s quite nice.Wonderful and extremely fast shipping.I’ve had it about 6 weeks and love it.Also, I don’t know the vocabulary for it, but the color kind of smears and appears splotchy as it transitions, particularly when it’s a bright scene. The biggest issue is that it needs to be factory reset every few weeks because it basically gets stuck in HDR mode and can’t be changed. Great picture. If you use any of the sizing features to fit your picture on to your screen, you will lose the advanced gaming features and will not get the 240hz refresh or the .The Optoma one is a pain.Great for both gaming and watching movies. Not at all what is advertised! Great picture easy set up … We love it I received a used projector. No lens shift. If it was a short throw or it offered a lens shift I would put it in the top 3 of gaming and movie projectors for 2021 I purchased this to replace my 9 yr old Optoma HD 33.Bright picture.Shortly after, it stopped working entirely.

Awesome projector Bought this and in under 3 months it broke. One big thing with this projector: no vertical or horizontal lens shift, and limited zoom.If its hanging upside down from ceiling or sitting on a table top – no problem.I ran across this one and with very few reviews I was hesitant, but look absolutely no further.Little white dots started to appear on the screen. If you’re in a small apartment I would advise against this projector. This is a great projector for $1299 and honestly, most people would not tell any difference between this and a lot more expensive one in terms of performance. However, it doesn’t support 4k and it’s not big enough to watch shows on via streaming. We used our Benq outside for movies, and we were able to view the movies from the time dusk started and onward. So glad I purchased a projector versus a larger screen TV.I can’t speak to the quality of HDR, the color accuracy, or gaming features because there was no point in even trying those things out, as this projector does NOT have a side-by-side or top-and-bottom 3D feature! For those not in-the-know, there are 2 main ways to play 3D movies from your computer on a projector. I went to this projector from my Epson 2040.Optoma is unwilling to help with the issue citing supply chain issues.
