great quality, no need for pitch black dark room, works very good with little side lamp ambience, watched Sat channles HD and SD, football games, movies, netflix, PS4 You name it .I’ve included several photos from the first setup on a sheet, dark at night.Been using it for 6 months now and it is awesome. But I have since purchased an EPSON 1060 -which seems to be working well This was quite an upgrade.I do notice a tiny rainbow effect, it can be adjusted out and doesn’t bother me at all bottom line this is the one, it’s amazing.I absolutely love it.So far the whole family loves it.Rebooting it couple of times or unplugging and plugging my HDMI cable usually helped and the issue was gone.It has a slightly less bright picture according to the specs but I cannot see the difference in the brightness of the picture.I’m only projecting to a 92" screen but I’m sure the image will look great even on a much larger sized screen.Even after about 10 years of daily use, the HD72 still gives a very sharp 720P image, but I wanted to have 1080P, and 3D.Pros– crisp focus– great color– completely fills 135″ screen with zero keystone– works well with moderate background lighting– projector on/off/volume works with Roku Ultra controller.I bought the Nebula Mars 2, and while it’s great for the price, I always felt it should’ve been a little brighter. My only complaint is the speaker sounds horrible, I’ve had a cheap 300$ projector that sounded way better.I checked Amazon just to see what was popular and took a chance on this one. That was it for my old 42” plasma. It’s brighter, clearer, and even quieter. We can watch much earlier before nightfall because the picture is so bright.I have found them to be quality and reliable projectors that often offer the best value on the market.

after month or so one day found picture showing green shade totally, tried couple of times restart then it went away… I thought it may be wire/cable issue but now realized it is projector color wheel issue so open service ticket with Optoma to fix it….Really upset that I cannot wirelessly stream netflix, disney plus, xfinity, or hulu wirelessly with the wireless dongle. After minimal to average use , it is already not working. My first entry into the projector world. No fan noise.I’ve owned several Optoma projectors in the past, and this is by far my favorite. This my second projector my first was a irulu projector and the Optoma is light years ahead of it.I have the projector sitting about 12 feet away with a 110-inch projection.I can watch this in ambient light and contrast is amazing.I sent it to Optoma to repair 3 TIMES, and they screwed up and sent me defective units each time. The 3-D is like being at the theaters without people texting or talking. The picture quality and color was amazing but after a few uses, it stopped turning in and gave an lamp error. It’s quite bright and can be seen in a moderately lit room, but you will have the best experience in a dimly lit or dark room, since you will see more details. It was easy to assemble and has a built in speaker but great to have when traveling with it and is loud. It’s not 4k but looks far better than expected.I live in a basement, so there is a small amount of light that shines through the window during the day time, but the brightness of the projector is fantastic and it does not diminish the colors.Fantastic for ambient light rooms such as living rooms. This one is so spectacularly bright, sharp and clear, I really enjoy it.I have Optoma HD26 1080p 3D DLP Home Theater Projector for 2 years and still working fine, this one, I doubt it will last for 1 year.

I recommend the screen as well.Brightness is good.) and personal liking (brightness, sharpness, use of Darbee, etc.Would like more of a zoom range BUT the Darbee feature is a great enhancement for HD.It started having problems turning on the bulb wouldent light up and when it did the screen would flicker and on top of that there was also a purple bar that went across the bottom of the screen which appeared in only a couple days of use so im returning mine for a full refund and i suggest not to buy this projector.Picture is nice and sharp no need to adjust anything to me just right coming out of the box it run very quietly to the point you always wonder if the fan is running.Paired with a motorized screen that lowers when powering up the projector and a Pioneer receiver. It isn’t a huge problem, but it was enough for me to take a star away, because I paid enough money to where that shouldn’t be a problem.Very sharp and bright image even on the economy setting. It’s a little more expensive than I wanted to pay but it’s worth it for the higher lumens and contrast ratio. My one thing I’m struggling with is the 3D.It’s a good product at a fair price There’s a white dot stuck on the projection, meaning the DLP chip is probably defective and is giving me a dead pixel. This was a huge upgrade. The only part we don’t use is the internal speaker on the projector because we have a surround sound system. We are very happy with this purchase this far.I looked the product over thoroughly and could not find a Model Number, it does not say it is a Optoma HD29Darbee any where, making me wonder if it is a knock off.among those selectionsI like the compact size to carry around with a carrying BAG included, Plus the super Picture Quality .There is a weird buzzing noise which sounds like a florescence light as if the ballast is bad or something.
