He hooked it up and then attached a fire stick and a really nice sound bar to it.I submitted an RMA and shipped the unit up — weeks later I got an incredibly rude email from Optoma insisting that nothing was wrong with the unit and that they would be shipping it back. The photo I included is 150 inch projection with the projector sitting about five or six feet away. After reading the positive reviews I had expectations that the picture quality would be good for use in a golf simulator, gaming and movies. It shows up that good in a medium dark area.I downloaded the manual from the official site – and my unit did not have 90% of the menu options listed in the manual. It’s perfect for what we bought it for which is outdoor movies for the neighborhood. There is some additional work you will need to put in if you want the best out of it.It truly works as advertised, and if used with a PC you’ll experience lower input latency than you would with a standard TV with a console. Not quite as bright as I thought it would be but still very bright.I read a review online that placed this unit as the best all-around outdoor/backyard movie projector. He tenido otros proyectores de marcas como Hitachi, VisewSonic, etc.The Good:Low input lag for gamingShort throw is niceHas good brightnessThe Bad:-Colors are poor, washed out.The diagonal gridlines are severely distracting. This means you must physically place this projector in the perfect position in pretty much every way including height, in order to get a perfect rectangle picture .boy was I wrong.I sent it to a repair facility and they tell me the power supply failed.

When it went out we ordered one of the top selling projectors on Amazon in the picture quality was just crap.Pair a decent soundbar and sub and you have a budget home theatre. The ceiling mount option would be safer, but more costly, requiring an electrical outlet installed, and snaking of the hdmi.Great response time for anything but the hardest core gamer.Sadly it was out of warranty. The short Throw is a life saver for the average room size limitations.🤪 For the price this a great projector that supports 4K @ 60Hz.The picture is incredible and the brightness makes it useful even in daylight. It’s very easy to get a decent sized screen around the house.I feel like last year’s model would have worked just as well for me.This is a great projector, bright and crisp pictures, easy to setup. The setup is stupid, why only have one corner and one center piece adjust to move the picture, one corner? It should be all 4 corners, second add a sixth middle adjuster to make it go lower.Over 4 years I had to replace the bulb for this projector every 6 to 12 months.Tried multiple power cables , multiple batteries in the remote, etc.Very sharp for video and gaming.Near the 1-year mark, built-in speakers started going out.[/review3][review4] First projector for me and my family! Ordered projector screen as well silver ticket a must have! Right out the box plus and play this thing looks amazing.

The added HDR support makes it a good upgrade over the standard model.I would shy away from cheaper DLPs and only opt for 3LCDs – which I know for a fact don’t have this issue.Make sure you read and view all the you tube videos before buying this model. Now it has to be repaired! Picture quality and brightness are amazing.Short throw means you can’t put your projector far away.Excellent product. It won’t find the source and the remote won’t work then it just flashes a purple led error code which support had no idea what that meant.Returned.My goal was a bright projector great for gaming that was 4K and HDR.5 feet from 120 inch screen Good Projector, But very disappointed lamp died in less than 400 hours of use in dynamic mode. However, there was no carrying case in either box.there are some chromatic aberations and lot of rainbow effect but otherwise it’s pretty good I currently own an epson 2150 projector and I think image quality and brightness is much better 2150I also wanted to test out the Short throw which for my room set up didn’t work had to place the projector in the middle of the room on a table which took up quite a bit of room I was better off the my current set up Ceiling mount I bought this to do a house mapping project and it’s bright and great colors.I also like the short throw, and picture it produces.
