They are bright and come with a lot of connection option.I was concerned that outdoors at 36ft from the screen, it might not be bright enough, but it is bright enough and then some.Easy to return and get a replacement, and once they work, they are solid and havent had any issues.Been using it for a few months now and we love it.We needed a new projector for the sanctuary which holds around 850 people all on one level.I got this projector to go onto my outdoor theater screen that is 9′ x 16′ .Used Fire stick to connect and watch a movie.Would recommend.Great sharpness. It was.Our department tested this projector, the result turns out better than I expect. Was an upgrade from my previous optima projector. The remote is terrible, I need to see if I can get a new one.It was helped by closing the blinds and shutting off one row of lights, but it would have been OK without those adjustments .Much brighter than the previous projector.Auto source and setup is easy.It is bright and has a good throw.

We went with the 4700 lumens because of the amount of ambient light.Love it.I picked this up for a big area in my living room and was not disappointed. Super bright and great colors. It met all of our expectations.I have some that have lasted a couple years with no problems.Delivered all that I wanted at a good price point.NOTE: It was actually too bright to have as a home theater.Heats up the room. However, I’m restricted to only using this at night. At 4700 lumens I was expecting a lot better quality.Also.

As a 3D projector, it is simply wonderful. I received a faulty one.I streamed an HD Africa from Amazon instant video, and it came in 3D…You don’t need anything else other than DLP glasses.Shipping was very fast as is all amazon prime shippings I have been using this Optoma EH500 with 4700 Lumens as my main home theater projector at it was pretty power full with a very brights image.Projector works like a charm.Sound was average- only 10W.This projector is a replacement for an order model Optoma for our large Conference Room. This projector is a different story.I have tried contact the seller, without any luck.Wonderful in the dark. The picture is clear and the device cost less than several other options we were exploring that actually cost more.entry-content –><!– .It runs quiet for its size and I have never had a complaint even in a tight setting.Maybe bad luck but both died at the same time.I guess I thought that at 4700 lumens it would look practically like a huge LED flatscreen TV even in a lit room.
