You have watched many videos.I have never seen such good black levels and saturation in projectors before.I switched because a storm blew out the HDMI inputs on the old projector.Having perfect blacks and dolby vision on the TV kept me from changing my set up to use a projector.Out of the box it is nothing to write home about, but after dialing in all the settings and adjusting the iris the picture is stunning! I think this projector can compete with some of the more expensive projectors at a much lower cost.NEC, Epson, Sony.I just watched Top Gun Maverick on it last night and it looked amazing.I was able to register the product on their website but when I attempt to submit a service request the site’s form does not allow you to select a topic which is required in order to submit the form.Image quality is great but dark scenes can be hard to make out.The picture is super sharp, detailed, and has tons of depth.I just bought it because of the many good reviews. You see a lot of reviews with pros and cons of features, quality, price, etc.It also my first one, so no truly abel to compare against any other.I watch a lot of darker shows and I was shocked with the rainbow effect I was exposed to.2 ALR unit.Projector turns on nearly instantly which is an improvement over the prior halogen bulb/LCD tech. Its pretty large and serious. This projector exceeded our expectations, especially for the price..UHD sharpness is an improvement over HD but let down by the stiff manual focusing lever.

One year into ownership and no updates of any kind to resolve issues with HDR tone mapping or any other issues.I LOVE the magic remote.Three HDMI inputs let me use it as a receiver and loop the audio back to my pre-amp .I have been really satisfied with the picture quality.Best all around projector for the 2-5k price range. It looked marginally better than my old Benq but not by much .This was an Open Box purchase. No Netflix or apps that i use in Sweden. While the picture was adequate , it couldn’t take advantage of the much higher resolution videos produced today.i just use my roku on my av reciever. The 4k hdr picture is phenomenal.Turns ON and OFF instantly.I have owned Panasonic, Epson, BenQ, and a couple of models of each of those! This projector is by far the brightest and has the most brilliant picture that pops out of the screen! My only complaint is that due to being DLP, the blacks are not so black. The movies are really sharp with vibrant colors. This is common with many DLP home projectors and a real distraction to people who are sensitive to seeing these artifacts.

Its bright enough to enjoy it during day time as well. The LG’s use of two lasers creates a very dynamic image on the 120″ screen with a number of image options based on content .And the device is still under warranty.Just do some research online with many of the reviews are extremely positive. At first the left half of the image would freeze every once in a while. I was very excited about this projector and it is a huge disappointment.Digital zoom (setting up while sitting a dozen feet in the air requires a telescope to truly see the screen … amazon.6x zoom, nice 2700 lumens. This should usher in a new wave of Laser 4k projectors; LG’s HU810PW will be the one to beat.
