The unit stopped powering on 6 months from purchase.I LOVEEEEE IT.This is my first projector and I am completely happy with it so far.I don’t move mine and its in a dark basement with very little ambient light.Unfortunately, It stopped working very next day of use.The size, the weight, the carry case you can buy separately, all make for a perfect blend of good quality image and portability.Web os hasn’t been updated to the latest 3.I just needed the ultra short throw, and this one does a ridiculously good job, projects a huge screen just a couple of feet from the screen/wall.It’s displaying a picture of about 82 inches on my bedroom wall.Click of a bottom will turn the projector and the sound system connect via bluetooth on.Never seen a projector this HQ! Excellent little projector. If this can be addressed i would rate it 5 stars.Seeing a football game projected onto the width of your entire wall is awe-inspiring and will impress everyone who comes over to your house.2 – When you attempt to turn off the eco mode the screen turns a green tint and isn’t fixable. However, I wanted one that I could place up against a wall so it would be out of the way.The only nit pick I have is the very slow interface for webOS.The problems mentioned below are still the same.I purchased the 110 inch qualgear high contrast gray screen to complete the set up.which also does not work.
Also Web Browser does not support Netflix or Amazon. It isn’t the brightest projector but even during the day it’s easily watchable. No fuss, simple plug and play.I thought it was much better than the BenQ models I tried out.Just be aware although the image is still viewable during the day with windows curtains open, for the best result I still need to curtain cover the windows closest to the projection screen. At 1000 lumens it was just not bright enough for my environment.I admit I wish there was more flexibility with the throw and height.Remote Control: 5 out of 10, online reviews showed the magic remote with the voice command. For the same reason you take a selfie with the camera upwards, this projector will pick up on every imperfection on your screen when it is below it.I didn’t love the remote control because it requires frequent recalibration.Had to return the next day.The very next day the price dropped to $1,237.You will need a screen for ultra short throw.Picture is not as good as an HD TV, but pretty darn close.I had a 42" TV before, going now to 100" is just awesome.I’m new to the whole projector world so don’t really have the experience to comment or compare to other projectors or screens.Pretty sad work there.Easy set up, made some adjustments to colors and lined up on 100′ screen, Prefect.
1 every week now.Set up was easy, picture is great and am using a flat white wall. The Web OS system is easy to use and the image quality is great. When I move or have to take it down for any reason it’s going on Craigslist. The Smart TV features are great I also have my Over the air antenna connected to it so i can watch TV too.It was more visible on white lines and letters.I control it with my fire tv.The interface feels outdated though when using apps and streaming by wifi hopefully an update will help Great 90"+ video instantly on the wall for great movie watching!! ultra short throw is the only reason I bought this.if you are brave enough to try something different for your casual living area setup, give it a go! won’t be disappointed. The picture quality is amazing!! My man cave is complete.I wish it were a little brighter but I am glad it is LCD instead of DLP.entry-content –><!– .Tried on different projector screens and found blurry picture on corners. It needs to be positioned surprisingly close to the wall, as even a 100" or so screen happens in an unexpectedly short amount of distance. Ordered the LG PF1000UW and love it so far.
