The styling is excellent and it feels like a solid machine. We didn’t have drapes in the room at first and it was still clearly viewable. There was no comparison. I’m a lay teacher, author and publisher.I was under the impression that I could play netflix or prime video movies through my phone if I connected an AV lightening adaptor.Very bright and very good contrast for this price range.Works great again! The lamp’s warranty had expired , but they sent me one free of charge anyway which was nice. The FAQ answers are incorrect when they say there is an audio output jack on this projector. The pico projector wasn’t bright enough for presentations or a home theater. Was told it was a sensor issue. If I was using this as a primary display I might be able to justify a higher expense, but based on my research you would have to spend quite a bit more in order to get significant improvements.I bought this to use for movie night and sporting events… great projector with hdmi video… Pretty decent projector but they really screw you on the cost of a replacement bulb.It was recommended as the projector of choice by an outdoor theatre guys guide I found on the net.I use it every weekend to watch football and the picture is great, nobody would ever complain. This projector has been great thus far for our outdoor movie nights. We project onto a bed sheet on the side of the camper, and it’s great! As another reviewer stated, the speaker is not very loud for outside, so we do need to hook an auxiliary speaker to it.What I like the picture quality is good the brightness is good it will in my opinion satisfy most people especially for the price.
I am so pleased with the quality of the picture.Even when I projected it on a actual screen, it still would not project a sharp image at 10 feet away. However, I had to actually turn the speakers down to get the volume! The audio quality was clear and perfect for indoor use.We use this for our “movie matinee” at the nursing home where I’m the activities director. It has great video quality, but there is no way to connect it to an external speaker, and the in-built speakers are just not that high a quality to provide a great viewing experience.Best buy. This is a lower resolution projector but I was surprised at the image quality and the brightness it displayed.Very easy to hook up and start projecting items from your laptop! I lost all HDMI functionality, other ports still work.I had to send it back–twice.I was a bit nervous as there was only one review prior to my purchase but I took the risk based on the product details given by Amazon and also the manufacturer’s website. We’ve just started upgrading to these in our elementary school, and it’s a huge improvement from the old lamp projectors that heat up and burn out every couple of years. This was a great buy and wonderful tool. The picture was clear and crisp even though there was strong sunlight coming in the windows of the meeting hall.A great product that is so easy to set up & use.The ability to use different connection cords was extremely handy when connecting to my laptop for work.I project movies on a off-white wall in my drawing room from around 12 feet away and even in daytime also I didn’t find any issue watching movies on it.Its user-friendly with a great projection .rca cable is not thst good. It’s lightweight, quick, easy, and has an extremely bright and clear image.
I searched a long time for a bright projector to use as an outdoor theater. This Edson is user friendly.Epson is an excellent brand.I just wished the audio could plug directly into the projector. You need to pick a projector with enough brightness so you can use it in daylight meetings. The following Sunday I use the unit for my Sunday School presentation.I use it together with MacBook Air to give presentations.I especially liked how we could put the projector to the side of the screen and adjust to get a good picture without it being in the way. I imaging it is due to the manufacture of the projection unit, but for our needs it rendered this a completely useless waste of money. Wish I would’ve known before I ordered that these have terrible focus for most presentations.I was surprised to see it also came with a thick padded carrying case. This projector is great for what I wanted it for the movies are great even if a light is on, the quality is still great. For me those days are over.Only con is that it doesn’t have a jack for an external speaker, so I am unable to use HDMI for my display, have to use VGA and pull sound from laptop. We also purchased an HDMI cable and case.It is a win-win for our Sunday School education department.
