NOW I am running full 4k HDR signal from my computer and not surprisingly I had to re-calibrate the picture. We are extremely pleased with it so far.I have a 150″ wall screen in my great room with plenty of ambient light have had no issues. This year I have tried two Epson products, the LS300 ultra short throw and this unit the Home Cinema 3800 and both were refurbished and both had issues and were defective. The picture quality is outstanding, far better than I expected even from a projector that touts 4K resolution.Great picture quality. This projector replaced a JVC DLP .I think it may be because I didn’t require a ton of vertical or horizontal lens shift though I did use it.It came WITHOUT warranty brochure.Don’t really know how to describe it.My original one was inexpensive, but it was pretty good. The flexibility of the throw distance made this the right choice. The projection is so bright I was able to watch a movie before sunset.Greet purchase love it.I bought this primarily to watch movies and sports during day time in family room.It is BRIGHT!!! .My room has a lot of light, which diminishes quality during day. Most movies now are 235-1 which have black bars on the top and bottom of my 16:9 screens.Really great for movie night at home.

It was easy to setup and is quiet.I then upgraded to the 3800 and I am extremely happy. So bright and colorful! A great bright room projector but not ready for that dedicated dark theater man cave. The difference in quality, clarity, brightness, and overall viewing pleasure is significant. You won’t want to watch anything that is not Ultra HD 4K.The brightness is perfect which allows you not to have to sit in complete darkness to see a nice picture. The projector was listed as new but clearly it had either been used or unpacked from its original packaging and repackaged in other boxes/materials.Colors are rich and crisp.Projector throw and keystoneOur video room has a 106” diagonal screen and the dimensions required a projector with a 16ft throw. The picture is very sharp. This projector at 2900 lumens WAY outshined the WiMiUS projector I bought that claimed to be 9000 lumes (there’s a 0% change it was anywhere near 9000 lumens – more like 1200-1500 tops.2nd unit- left side has significant ghosting , while right is perfect.I am currently using an older receiver, so I can’t comment on 4k, but everything, from streaming to BluRay to Red Dead Redemption 2, has looked great thus far.The picture is simply amazing – bright and clear.

I remember that LCDs did not do that….We absolutely love the Epson 3800 Projector.I figured the lack of a full DC3 color pallet was an acceptable tradeoff. I thought it was going to be subpar… Ended up being superior! The screen from the beginning would not focus on all 4 corners.A little bigger than the previous projector.I am impressed with the picture quality and brightness though. This projector looks like a projector from “little big world” in Mario. We also used wireless speakers for the audio with no connection problems and the sound was crystal clear.I have been using it for outdoor movies this summer, projecting to a 145″ screen with ease. The old projector made it hard to tell whether someone had initialed a document or not.You don’t have to mount it dead center of the screen, You just get it close and then adjust the image to –> <use xlink:href="http://2azap.After a month of calls and e-mails to Epson, they refused to honor their warranty, claiming that DIGJUNGLE was a third party seller through Amazon, and that DIGJUNGLE was responsible for the warranty.Bright and really high quality images.Works very well with an awesome picture. Steve went out of his way to help us out.
