Great.I love being able to have a wall that doesn’t have a monstrous ugly TV on it! Projection is the future if you like a nicely decorated room. This is the first projector that I’ve had and I’m extremely happy with it.I almost paid another grand to get a 4k model, but after seeing the picture with this one there’s really no need.We did a lot of research about what to look for and what is ideal.Picture brightness and resolution are outstanding, and while not a 4K system, clearly on the top tier of HD projectors.projecting from about 19 feet onto a 120" screen and it is spectacular.Typically unplugging it and plugging it back is enough to get it going again.I kept coming back to Epson.Simple but you’re paying a great price for some NETFLIX & CHILL ON STEROIDS!! From now on I’ll only be buying this model. At that price point it’s probably the best value projector you can buy.The vertical shift is very extensive and horizontal shift is very handy if you don’t want to mount it and just want to put it next to your bed.Picture quality is outstanding.Pros: Very bright.Comparing the two, the output of the 3100 is quite bright.Update: Have had this for about a year now.I purchased this pj for ease of setup and installation.I have 4k projectors that can’t measure up to half the quality this projector offers. This projector blows my 2k$ Sony BXR Bravia LCD out of the water. No email, epson web site till says out of stock.

Epson Technical Support could not figure out the problem based on the non-standard status light pattern. This is not usable as is Great picture and price Works great sharp picture and well worth the the cost 3 STAR This is my second projector.Debating whether or not it’s time to upgrade to a 4k projector or order another bulb from Epson and get 3 more years out of this one.best ive had.Combined with the Yamaha 4950u sound system, it makes watching 3d movies at home better than the theater.Picture quality is just OK but it may not like our long HDMI cable.I did not hear any noise at all even though it was put on the shelf on the right side of our seats.[/review5][review5] Great video resolution, quiet system.Wanted to go from 96 inch diagonal to 120 inch and the picture was awesome for my Super Bowl party.Glad I purchased for movie theatre.I wont buy ANYTHING else! This along with the affordable screens.Returned a BenQ HT2050 because it had bad chromatic abberation and I could see RBE..I’ve read the forums and it’s a known bug.

great picture The Edson 3100 is as good as all the reviews and the qualgear mount took the headache out of the mounting. It’s just a little bit more trial and error, but eventually got the position just right and the picture looks awesome. Used for theater room Great picture.I gave 4 stars as setting up was a nightmare. In the end it was Beteeen the 3100 a d the 2045, and the 3100 is what I chose.I have two living room windows to the left of my projection surface and they face north. We switched from a Panasonic AX100 which we had for the past 10 years and the picture had just gotten too dark even with a new lamp. The Epson is one of the least expensive and yet most impressive of all that I’ve seen. Excellent, great picture.I wanted a projector that would do a good job outdoors on a 120 inch screen in a smaller backyard. The colors are great. If you are looking for a projector and are reading reviews from different brands and types on amazon, my hope is to help you decide depending on your needs without making the review overly long.I set it up in a break room at my business and even with the lights on the picture was bright and crisp.I am a home theater hobbyist, and this is my 5th Epson projector. It wasn’t good enough that we liked to watch movies on it.
