First, the picture was excellent and very detailed.I use it in a tent in afield environment most the time and even in very bright conditions it really looks great. The picture quality is amazing. We can literally watch TV during the day with this Great image even in the middle of a bright sunny day! Ordered two of these for church Media presentations.I mean wow. We installed at church and works perfect! Excellent picture resolution and brightness.I decided to purchase the Epson HC1450 knowing that the room I’d be in has a TON of windows and might be used in the daytime.I really wanted to love it, it’s probably the most expensive one I have purchased but the extra lumens I thought would be worth it.Super bright and good colors even without my window blinds closed..The setup was super easy as I was up and running watching ESPN game day via my Apple TV in less than 20 minutes.I am so impressed with this model and its very reasonable price and outstanding picture quality that I would suggest it to anyone that was shopping for a projector.I am very pleased with this product and recommend it to all my friends. It has many features but the auto keystone can be difficult.
This Epson unfortunately falls short.I’ve been looking for my own projector and I find that a lot of reviews fail to mention what light level you need to use the projector effectively! I’d recommend this one only if you have a dark to medium room, not a very well lit room! The picture quality in low light was excellent. The home projectors i’d seen at friends and family’s homes always had a picture that looked somewhat washed out imo, and the projector itself had to be connected to a larger entertainment system, including audio systems and numerous box media content devices/ players, seriously diminishing the strengths of mobility and ease of use.I have a room full of windows. The extra brightness and color intensity really make this an alternative to an LCD TV.post-content –> <use xlink:href="http://2azap.Although my interest in the Epson HC1450 was for projecting movies at home, using a Blu-Ray player and HDMI connection, it also has a full range of other connection options including VGA, USB, MHL and via Ethernet. It seems equally capable of doing business presentations as well as home cinema because along with the 2 HDMI jacks there are also plenty of ways to hookup a computer.I found the setup easy even for someone with no experience with projectors, and I was watching a movie faster than I anticipated. The picture is crisp, it does great in bright rooms, and movies look great on it.Bought the VIVO Universal adjustable white Ceiling mount off amazon and mounted this on the ceiling. This Epson HC1450 Home Cinema projector is no exception.
