I came in expecting a TV killer, it is almost there. Some were light colored and one was very dark in color – and they all showed the picture fantastically with great detail and extremely large pictures with wonderful color and vibrancy. You get the Epson EF-100 projector along with a separate Epson branded Android TV dongle.Well, this projector is the BOMB in comparison! For the same setup, this projector is able to display an image on the wall in the day and it looks great, no complaints! The projector ships at 80% brightness, but I turned it up to 100%, and though it did get brighter, it didn’t seem like it got 20% brighter.Excellent for color, lamp life and portability.Together they make a very attractive package that is extremely flexible and easy to use.So, I turned off automatic vertical key stoning and it is fine.I was shocked by: How little was in the box in terms of both hardware and paper, instructions, warranty infos etc.It took about five minutes before we were watching videos and movies. Is this a value for a projector vs a standard TV? Yes.We decided to go approximately 100″ in projected size. This means that you can stream content over wifi to the projector.I built a small shelf for it on the wall to the right of my bed and the image is being projected on the wall in front of the bed. This was no ordinary event, and I had to watch this movie with this new projector, which is capable of projecting up to 150-inches diagonally. My use is in a church sanctuary during the day with poorly controlled light entering the room.As someone that has not used one of these before, I have to say that setup was very quick and easy.Pretty simple setup; remove the rear cover of the projector and attach the Epson streaming device, or any other streaming device you may have, replace the rear cover, attach the power cable, and press the projector ON button.I was shocked at the brightness and large size of the picture – it was really a “wow!” moment. The laser projection is powerful enough that the picture is visible in all but the brightest light situations: you’ll want to use it in a room where you can dim the lights or pull curtains, but total darkness isn’t required.Man things have really changed.
Well, that’s not very true.If you don’t use the stick the remote that comes with the projector is useless. It has an amazing picture and set up is super simple. We set it up as a 150″ screen, so it can go quite large. This is a perfectly priced model that delivers an impressive picture, resolution and sound without the serious investment of a bigger model like the 5050.And man, this this is SMALL.I cut the cord in like 2010.The picture is utterly crisp almost anywhere you put it, except if you go outside and it’s still daylight. It does cast the apps from my phone relatively easy though.Overall it’s a huge improvement over our last projector.Within minutes of taking it out of the box, I had a great looking picture that took up my entire bedroom wall.Easy to set up, easy to navigate, really good picture, and passable audio. The reason it is so great is because of the versatility and ease of setting it up.
