It projects a sharp image for me to trace over it and onto the t-shirt or other surface. The seller was very understanding and tried to help with the problem but like I said I had no idea why the projector didn’t work so I just asked for my money back I didn’t want another projector.I couldn’t have been more pleased with the picture quality, brightness and the sound .After a year though, I can say that you’re better off spending a bit more and we are upgrading.I wanted to do an AtmosFX projection on my garage, and this projector lit up the screen I made very well. There is also a 30 day "trial. We use it to watch movies outdoors and it fits the bill perfectly. At one point, no focusing would work.Instead of a green light showing power, we get a red light that means "malfunction" but there is no display showing what’s wrong.I’ve viewed it from differences distance, size, and no matter how much I fix the focus or what type of surface I project it on, you still can see all the pixels. This DOES NOT come with the needed cables to hook up to a phone. But getting it to focus on the whole picture is impossible.when the package arrived about a week later I set it up immediately! when I set the projector up the screen that it projected was slanted and there was nothing I could do about it..This projector does not allow changing the screen size besides moving the projector closer and further away from the wall… Also the fan is very loud. The projector it self has problems displaying what I had connected to.Naturally it’s not truly 1080p as it’s only an 800×480 LCD inside, but it plays higher quality video will still looking good for its price point.First, the good:– throws a really large picture– lots of inputs options – nice remote that works at different angles– USB can power Roku & Fire Stick– standard power cord allows you to get a longer option for cheap– decent on board sound with audio output options– quiet but effective cooling– sleep timer & auto off time– no too large, but I’d definitely consider this "mini" or medium, not "pico" or "pocket"The cons:– I thought I had some stuck pixels, but it was just dust behind the lens that must have been from the manufacturing or shipping. The fan was making a horrible sound, and now it shutdowns every time after being on for a short time.Videos form SD card and/or USB memory stick work great.
It can be hooked up to almost anything; I just plugged our Roku stick into the USB and we were up and running in no time.It was very easy to set up and worked well with our Firestick and our Jambox .The effort they made to communicate with me on the hitch I experienced showed me that real humans are working at these companies, and in this case respond to issues like mine.Returned for credit.I got this little baby and I honestly I am quite jealous of her little setup. My family enjoys watching movies on it.5 years after purchase) this projector got a “spot” in the display. It should power coming to it-but it would not go on.I tried to overlook this, but then shortly after, a yellow blob began to emerge on the upper left part of the screen. The original person I dealt with basically told me I was lying about how I used the projector and that I voided their warranty policy even though I cleaned the projector regularly and did my best to prevent it from getting too hot by not using it for too long.A frustrating nightmare.I put a short video on an SD card and slipped it in.I didn’t expect much because most recommendations were to spend thousands for quality, but we were pleasantly surprised. The projector is lightweight and also mounts to a standard tripod, which is incredibly convenient.Hooked up to a sound system, so I can’t speak to the quality of the audio, but the video was just fine.Using it is pretty simple and the speaker is loud enough for my taste.Took a little bit to get the color settings and focus just right but that’s pretty typical even with TV’s.UPDATE: My projector turned out to be defective or damaged. For a projector at this price point it has a nice sharp image with decent brightness.Very clear picture even in a room that’s not completely dark.
The throw is very good from this small a projector and it focuses well even from a 20-30ft distance. It’s a great value. There are some stuff to make a mental note of before considering this item. After trying three different phones , I have come to the conclusion that it cannot be done. The projected image quality was crisp and clear.I usually need to be in total darkness for anything to be visible.110% satisfied. But this projector give bold color and amazing quality images. The quality of the image is really great, especially at this cheap of a price-point.If I hear back from the seller regarding the remote I would probably update this review to a 5.I would’ve loved if it had and automated focus option to be used with the remote, also the projector makes some noise when it’s warming up but stops after a couple of seconds. One evening, while enjoying a nice outdoor fire, he stumbled upon this projector on Amazon. The room needs to be dark if you want a good bright picture, but that’s pretty much any projector. Can see pixels at max distance , but vey watchable.I have my Bose speaker connected to it using an auxiliary cord plugged into the headphone jack.Very clear picture quality, audio is good but would advise connecting it to external speakers. They have sent me a replacement projector at no charge. To me, this is the standard all sub-$100 projectors should be defined by.Moreover I bought for just $80 [Lightning round deal] which made more happy.V no but thats the point of an out door movie is going back to before we got to into super sharp images.
