PROsIt is compact, when it works well, it works mostly very well.Surprisingly pretty bright, especially on boosted mode.Read some good reviews on the P300 Neo and talked to their customer support to make sure this mini projector would be a good fit for me and I’m glad I went with it.Nevertheless, I had no confidence in this particular unit so I’m returning it.I was skeptical. Great little projector. This tiny little thing packs a punch!!! I was used to using $80 amazon projectors or a $1200 massive beast of a projector, this one performs just as well as the $1200 one, but it’s portable and has a built in battery! It’s so tiny.Worth the money to pay for higher definition .It’s bright enough even with some ambient light in the room and it’s very crisp in detail especially when you set the switch to output 720p.The keystone correction feature was very fiddly to use.I use it almost every day.Pretty much what I expected. In works as advertised, and most of the reviews are spot on as they point out the pros and cons. Very good overall.Pros:* Real HDMI input* Keystone correction.Trying to correct that, hard to get back and difficult to advance the images effectively.Even though it is small enough to easily hold in one hand, I have come to the conclusion that the P300 Neo is the perfect projector for my entertainment at home and it can probably be excellent for business use, assuming a dim room.I had to spend $20 to get it from the manufacturer’s website.
I can’t get over how loud and ‘tonal’ the fan is.What’s wrong with this product? I have a very bad experience with this. The Neo is easy to set up, and works fine.It is small and lite.It has another week to get its act together, or it’s getting sent back while there’s still a return period.I was going to give it 4 stars because when I tried to play movies I purchased from iTunes and playing them from my iPhone or iPad using Apple’s lightning to hdmi adaptor all I would get is the video and no audio from the movies I purchased from iTunes.I am using it connected to a Lenovo Yoga 720.Image stutters even with lower res video files. Purchased this projector based on the highly rated reviews on the older P300 standard model.Great value and convenience as described This projector suit my portable needs, working great so far![/review4][review5] Can’t believe how bright it is for such a small unit.We last used this projector with our Nintendo Switch for our Mammoth cabin trip and it was great for the kids. The projector is simple to use and provides enough brightness to project at a large image under dim lighting. You will need to connect a speaker to it if watching anything. It is very compact which might be nice for traveling or other things but did not meet my needs.
The reds and pinks are a little strong, however.I haven’t yet found a negative for my use case. Works great with my MacBook Air and my wife’s MacBook Pro.It is tiny, relatively light, but bright enough and with good enough native resolution quality that I can throw up a display in a small office environment.I rate it highly for the goods specs and performance of the unit although it does have some annoyances which I list below. It produces nice colors and good focus all the way to the edges of the projected image.as its predecessor P4X Standard. The battery doesn’t last the stated time even on eco modeAnd the focus wheel keeps going out of focus when on – very annoying to get up and change it every 10 minutes of a movie…if that was fixed, the other stuff can be ignoredmy opinion, don’t buy one with a focus wheel Great quality image for movies.
